So on Sat. my dad took me and the kids to ride 4- wheelers at Juniper Dunes. It was so much fun. The kids did great and had a blast. Tyler has no fear and wants to ride all day long. We stayed for a couple of hours and can't wait to go again. On Friday when I was in the car listening to the radio, they had a contest to be the 9th caller and win concert tickets. I've never tried to call before, but thought I'd try.... well, I actually won!!! I got two tickets to the Augustana,Counting Crows, Maroon 5 concert in Auburn last night. My friend Becky loves Maroon 5 too, so we went. Counting Crows sucked @ss so bad. We laughed alot. I think the guy smoked to much pot or something cause he was just pulling lyrics out of his @ss. One lyric was "someone stole my shoes, but I've got my bananas and booze" I asked the guy behind me if he knew the band and if they were real songs, he said that he was ad libing alot. He had even messed up one of his songs and had to come back out and re-sing it. Maroon 5 was awesome, but over way to quick. We danced and sang and yelled so much that I can't believe we can talk today. Our seats were bad, it was at the White River Ampatheatre but we had lawn seats, Becky brought blankets so we set those up and went to walk around. They had beach chairs you could rent for the grass so I asked about those. It was $6 to rent a chair, but she offered us to upgrade to seats for $10, so we did that. About 10 min after we sat down it started to pour rain. We were so happy that we had decided to upgrade to seats with a roof over it. The new seats were actually pretty good and we stayed dry. It was a blast. We didn't get home until 4:30am. Luckily neither of us had to work today.
